Winter Is Coming: Why You Should Move To The Beach

Life is too short to deal with cold weather. And this is doubly true if America imposes more coronavirus lockdowns like some experts suggest. If you want to enjoy your winter, move to a beach town.

In much of the United States, the weather is terrible six months a year.

From the end of October through early April it is too cold for doing much outdoors. And frequent snowstorms mean you aren’t hitting the gym or going out nightclubs. And this doesn’t even factor in the upcoming coronavirus hysteria that’s sure to set in once the “second wave” hits.

Also, cold weather is dreary.

I went hiking around the Midwest last April and everything looked like this:

Not very inspiring!

Luckily, things don’t have to be like this.

Move somewhere warm and spend your winter at the beach. Frolic around in the sand, surrounded by half-naked girls. Drink a beer by the ocean at noon every day. Go fishing, jet skiing, or SCUBA diving.

Let some other sucker deal with snowstorms and bad weather.

It’s not your problem. You’re at the beach.

How To Escape The Cold And Enjoy The Beach

You need to overcome two hurdles before you can spend your winter at the beach. The first challenge is social, you need to tell your friends and family where you’re going and what you’re doing.

In most years this is very difficult. People are like crabs in a bucket and they always want to make sure you’re as miserable as they are. But this year you don’t have to worry about social backlash. Just say something about not feeling safe due to crime or coronavirus.

You’ll get a pass.

The second issue is financial. You need a steady stream of location independent income if you want to enjoy the beach.

Luckily, this too is easier than you think.

Most beach towns are cheap.

Go on Agoda.com and look at some of the apartments in ocean side towns. Many of them cost less than $500 a month.

Personally, I’ve snagged a place all winter for under $300 per month. Even with dating, eating at restaurants, and SCUBA diving; my total monthly expenses will be well bellow $900 per month.

Beach Town Living Is Cheaper Than You Think

You can easily save up enough to cover 2 – 3 months of beachfront living when you’re expenses are $1,000 or less each month.

Better yet, you can build a location independent business to provide steady cash flow, ensuring that you always have the money to go on vacation. And, that you never have to worry about setting a budget once you’re there.

My business suggestion? Affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a low-cost way to start making money online. And you can do this anywhere there’s an Internet connection.

With affiliate marketing, you’re simply selling other people’s products and collecting a commission on each sale. This is great because you don’t need to create a product of your own, saving you time and money. You can also run this entire business through a free platform like Twitter or YouTube, saving you from having to set up technically complex websites or sales funnels.

If you want to learn the ins and outs of affiliate marketing, join Affilorama.

This is a complete walkthrough program showing you how to make money selling other people’s products. Use this system to find a few good products, plug them for your audience, and collect those sweet sales commissions.

Then use that money to live life on your own terms.
