Airline travel isn’t what it once was. A fact I learned the hard way after getting stranded in New York City during Labor Day weekend. Apparently they overbooked flights or something. Luckily, I wasn’t alone. I hit it off with a cute girl who was also stuck at the airport. And we ended up going downtown and having a lot of fun together…
Which leads into today’s topic. “Game vs Money.”
Is it pure charm that gets you laid?
Or big-balling six-figure a month income?
The answer?
Both.
Game is money.
While you don’t want to be a money grubbing dork, you also don’t want to find yourself “priced out of life.”
Spending $1,000 in a weekend once or twice a year shouldn’t destroy you. Giving you the opportunity to do something like have a spontaneous 24-hour, whirlwind affair with an attractive woman in downtown Manhattan. Or enjoy a wild night out in Hong Kong or Las Vegas.
You don’t want to be the guy who cheaps out on everything.
Or the guy who’s so broke that watching TV is his only hobby.
Life is meant for living.
So while you do need “game,” in the sense of being charismatic and desirable, you only need to be slightly more charming/dangerous/mysterious than the average guy. Call it one standard deviation.
Beyond that, being where the action is (a big city, popular nightclub, international vacation hotspot) reigns supreme.
