In fact, here’s a room a came across today. It usually goes for $706.30, but a weird cancellation request made the hotel offer it up for only $33.98. That’s a $600 savings!

Entertainment wise, you’re only a few minute walk from the Ben Thanh Market, and there are several popular nightclubs nearby as well.

And, when you meet a girl, you’re allowed to bring her back to your room, at no extra charge.

For budget conscious travelers, this is an excellent pace to stay.

2. Best Value: Thien Tung Hotel

The Thien Tung Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay. And you’ll love it too.

This place is perfectly located. It’s less than 100 yards from the Ben Thanh Market, and completely surrounded by cool shops and museums. There are a bunch of coffeehouses in the area (perfect for taking girls to during the day), the Fine Arts Museum, and quite a few fantastic restaurants.

Plus you’re right near several of Ho Chi Minh City’s hottest nightclubs and beer gardens.

As for the hotel itself, the place is amazing! You get a nice room, free WiFi, gym and swimming pool access, and complimentary breakfast.

All this, without having to spend much at all. In fact, the Thien Tung Hotel is incredibly affordable. Room rates start at less than $40 per night. And you can get bigger discounts when you book through Agoda.com.

3. High-End Choice: Caravelle Saigon Hotel

This is the most famous hotel in all of Vietnam.

The Caravelle Saigon Hotel originally opened on Christmas Eve 1959, and ended up playing a major role during the Vietnam War. It was used as a headquarters for journalists, government officials, and military personal.

In modern-day, the Caravelle is an upscale hotel with beautiful architecture and a wonderful staff.

When you stay here you can enjoy five-star amenities like an incredible swimming pool, fully equipped gym, and multiple lounges and restaurants.
