This is my go-to hair loss prevention option. Nizoral is an inexpensive shampoo that’s easily available at most stores, or on Amazon (with Amazon obviously offering the best price). You put this on your scalp in the shower, wait 15 – 20 minutes, and then rinse it off. Do this for a few weeks, and you’ll start to notice a huge difference.
Nizoral is unscented, giving it that Head And Shoulders chemical type smell. And it does have a drawback of making your hair look greasy and clumpy for about an hour after your scalp soaking routine.
Luckily, this issue does go away once your hair dries down, but it is something to keep in mind.
