Vietnam Style Guide

How do Vietnamese people dress? And what’s consider fashionable? In this Vietnam style guide, you’ll learn the answers to these questions and more.

I’ll give you some useful male fashion advice, warn you about a common “Western mistake,” and show you a sure-fire way to make yourself more attractive.

Here we go.

How Do Vietnamese People Dress?

If you grew up in America, you’re probably familiar with the stereotype that Asian people are giant nerds and bad dressers.

It’s something almost every 90’s sitcom joked about.

However, this isn’t true at all. Most Asian people put lots of effort into their appearance. Especially younger folks in their 20’s or 30’s. Go to any bar or club and you’ll see guys wearing suits, and women in dresses and high-heels.

Even in daily life, girls dress up nicely.

If you’re at the mall or walking down the street, you’ll see tons of chicks wearing nice dresses and high-heels. Fashion and style are very important.

Don’t Make This Classic Mistake

While Vietnamese people dress well, many Western tourists look like trash. Guys wear old gym shorts, flip-flops, and ratty T-Shirts; then they complain about “striking out” with the local hotties.

Even worse, these guys never improve their style.

Don’t make this same mistake.

Instead, come prepared. Dress well, look sharp, and enjoy all the benefits of being a good-looking man.

You’ll get into bars and clubs easier, women will constantly check you out, and you’ll score more dates with less effort.

Best of all, you don’t have to spend much to dress well.

Investing in a few key outfits allows you to be stylish without breaking the bank.

And in this next section, I’ll show yo a few affordable but fashionable clothing choices to make you stand out during your trip.

Vietnam Style Guide: How To Instantly Boost Your Appearance

The fashion tips I’m about to give you are great for day-to-day activities. Whether you’re sipping coffee at a trendy cafe, or exploring the city on foot, these clothing recommendations will keep you stylishly comfortable.

For more upscale venues (like the sky bars or casinos), I suggest wearing a custom suit.

In Vietnam, these are very affordable. And they cost as little as $200 each. Consider investing in one if you want the full high-roller experience.

But, for daily life (and hitting the bar scene), wear the following.

Jeans

Despite the tropical climate, most Vietnamese men wear long pants. Particularly, jeans.

This is what’s fashionable, and women love it.

Because of this, you need to invest in a quality pair of jeans. If you’re going clubbing or out on a date, it’s always important to dress your best.

Personally, I like Levi’s Men’s 513 jeans.

They’re comfortable, look great with a V-Neck or casual button-down, and meet the dress code for most bars and clubs.

(Great, High-Quality Jeans)

These are a huge step up from the typical gym shorts most tourists wear. And, they’ll set you apart from over Westerners, which automatically makes you more attractive and appealing to the local women.

Shirts

Don’t make the mistake of only packing T-Shirts for your trip.

Most men do this, and it makes them stick out like a sore thumb. They look like stereotypical tourists, and are significantly under-dressed compared to the locals.

Instead, I suggest mixing things up and packing a few o the following:

V-Necks

(An Excellent Brand)

More stylish and trendy than the T-Shirt, V-Necks are the perfect casual wear for men.

If you’re in-shape and athletic looking, they’ll accentuate your body, showcasing your muscular physique. It’s great for attracting girls and subtly turning women on.

Additionally, these shirts are perfect for Vietnam’s hot weather climate.

They’re light, breathable, and good for keeping cool.

Invest in a few quality V-Necks (Next Level is an excellent brand) for your trip. Then, enjoy walking down the streets as hot girls turn their heads to check you out.

Short-Sleeve Shirts

(Looks Great While Remaining Comfortable)

Casual clothes are nice, but not appropriate for every situation. When you’re going golfing or off to a nice lunch, it’s important to wear something a little more “upscale.”

In these situations, I recommend this Van Heusen Men’s Short-Sleeve Oxford Dress Shirt.

The shirt looks great, and is perfect for wearing to the golf course or marina bar.

It’s also a nice choice for wearing on dates, and you’re sure to get lots of compliments on your stylish choice of clothes.

Shoes

Flip-flops and sandals are great if you’re at the beach or attending a pool party. But for anything else they look trashy.

Wear an actual pair of shoes when you’re out and about.

Any footwear (including gym shoes) is better than flip-flops. For casual outings, I wear Converse sneakers. These look nice, and I’ve even gotten compliments on them.

(Stylish And Comfortable)

When it comes to footwear, the fashion bar is pretty low. Most travelers pack nothing but flip-flops, so many locals aren’t used to seeing a Westerner man with actual shoes.

As a result, you’ll get pretty good attention. And, your dates will notice that you’ve put some effort into your appearance.

Watches

(An Excellent, Fashionable Watch At An Affordable Price)

A lot of guys go nuts over watches. They think owning a Rolex or Patek Philippe instantly makes you more attractive. In their minds, an expensive watch will have women flocking to you like you’re Brad Pitt.

But, here’s a dirty little secret.

Most women know nothing about watches.

If you’re watch looks nice, they’ll like it. Regardless of the price. A $200 watch that’s sharp-looking gets you as much attention as a $15,000 timepiece.

As such, I recommend this Seiko men’s watch. It’s stylish, looks good in the club, and costs less than $150.

I wear one, and get compliments on it all the time.

Put this on the next time you’re going out. And watch as girls you’re chatting with ogle your timepiece and tell you how much they like it.

Accessories

Miscellaneous stuff like sunglasses or jewelry is up to you.

Personally, I’m not a big accessories man myself. But, I do think it’s a good idea to invest in some quality sunglasses.

When you’re at the beach, riding around on boats, or hiking through the jungle, it’s important to protect your eyes. Plus, a good pair of shades simply makes you look cool.

Like watches, however, there’s a weird cult mentality surrounding sunglasses.

Lots of guys insist that you only buy the most expensive or prestigious brands. As for me? Well, I don’t subscribe to this.

There are tons of inexpensive, quality brands that are just as good as their $300 and $500 counterparts.

Case in point, LUENX Aviator Sunglasses are lightweight, good-looking, and cost less than $20.

(Outstanding Glasses)

These shades are perfect for lounging on the beach or trekking through the jungles of Vietnam.

Special Bonus: Pheromones

Here’s a weird but effective way for making yourself more attractive. And it’s a “secret weapon” most guys don’t know about.

Pheromones are something that men and women naturally produce in order to attract each other.

In fact, studies have shown that our body’s pheromones have a massive impact on how we attract the opposite sex.

Give off a lot of masculine pheromones, and you’ll make women horny.

That’s where RawChemistry comes in. The company synthesizes sex pheromones. By using their scent, you’re able to make yourself more attractive.

In fact, men using this product have reported a 74% increase in sexual activity.

(The Seduction Game’s “Secret Weapon”)

Best of all, the RawChemistry’s formula is completely odorless. You can wear it with your regular cologne.

I highly suggest ordering a bottle of these pheromones (This one is my favorite blend) to test out for yourself. Put a few dabs on before heading to the club, and watch as women start grinding against you on the dance-floor, letting you run your hands all over their bodies.

This is definitely a game-changer, and easily the best seduction tool I’ve ever used.
